How your item travels to us.

Prepaid, insured label

Once you confirm a sale we email you a prepaid shipping label and make it available to download in your portfolio. Postage to us is free — the label covers it.

Each shipment is insured in transit up to the item’s valuation while it is in the carrier’s care.

Packing your item

Pack the item securely in a small, plain box or padded envelope with no external markings that indicate valuables. Include any reference we give you so we can match your parcel on arrival.

Keep your proof of postage until payment is complete — it is your evidence that the parcel entered the insured network.

Timescales

We assess your item on the working day we receive it and send your confirmed price the same or next working day. Payment follows once you accept, within the timescale shown at checkout.

Returns

If you decline our confirmed price, we return your item to the address you gave us, free of charge, using an insured service and normal signed-for delivery.

UK & EU shipments

Prepaid labels are available for addresses in the United Kingdom and the European Union. For EU shipments, any customs paperwork required for the insured return is handled by us; you do not pay import charges on your own returned item.

Risk in transit

While an item is in transit to us it remains at your risk except to the extent it is covered by the transit insurance on our prepaid label — which is why we ask you to use only the label we provide and to keep your proof of postage.
