The terms of using Redisco.

The service

Redisco lets you value jewellery and precious-metal items and, if you choose, sell them to us. A valuation is an indicative, good-faith estimate based on the information and photos you provide — it is not a binding offer to buy.

Making a sale

A binding sale is formed only after we receive your item, verify it against your valuation, and confirm a final price. If our checks differ materially from what you entered, we will send you a revised price to accept or decline.

You confirm that you own each item outright, that it is free of any charge or claim, and that you are legally able to sell it.

Pricing and payment

Prices reflect live precious-metal spot rates and the item’s assessed metal, purity, and weight. Once you accept a confirmed price, we pay you by bank transfer to the account you provide, normally within the timescale shown at checkout.

Changing your mind

If you decline our confirmed price, we return your item to you free of charge using an insured service. Title in an item passes to Redisco only when we have paid you in full for it.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate information, to describe items honestly, and not to send prohibited or stolen goods. We may refuse or cancel a transaction where we reasonably suspect fraud or a legal breach.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our liability for any item is limited to its confirmed price or, before a sale is agreed, its insured postage value.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you contract with us as a consumer in the EU, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence.
